A vacancy has arisen for the newly created post of Occupational Health Advisor with responsibility for providing a proactive and comprehensive in-house Occupational Health service. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic & self-motivated individual to develop this new function and play a key role in shaping the policies required to deliver a professional service for the benefit of our employees.
You should be a RN first level (adult) and hold a relevant qualification in Occupational Health i.e. certificate/diploma/degree. You will also need to be able to demonstrate experience within the full remit of Occupational Health issues, including pre-employment health assessments, immunisations/vaccinations, venepuncture, employee absence referrals, health surveillance, audiometry, lung function tests and risk assessments. A good working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and experience of working in a multi-risk organisation is essential.
You will be a resourceful and innovative individual with good organisational, computer, communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
