Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and our purpose is simple, to realise genuinely world-class ‘total quality’ in all aspects of the organisation and provide the highest quality products and services to our customers.

We understand that everyone has a vital role to play in the efficient running of our business and the success of the company is dependent upon the quality of every individual’s work and total team effort.  If you show enthusiasm and confidence in your performance, others will too.

The result is a culture where everyone is encouraged to stretch and develop themselves and take responsibility for their actions.  By challenging the ‘status quo’ we strive to turn ideas and dreams into reality - ‘Your Vision, Our Future’.

From endoscopes that save lives to digital cameras that stimulate emotions and products that provide security and peace of mind.  Olympus KeyMed takes on challenges to create new value in the world, whether through product development or its corporate social responsibility programmes.

Olympus KeyMed operates in a diverse range of business areas which allows us to attract people with all kinds of skills and experience.

What can you expect from us?

Remuneration Package

In most areas of the company there are no set salary scales as we believe employees should be remunerated in line with market rate and rewarded on an individual basis for the skills and experience they bring to the company and the role they are performing.

In addition to a competitive basic salary, there are a range of financial incentives.  These differ depending on the area of the company in which you choose to work however, the outline below will give you an idea of what’s available:

Discretionary Bonus

This bonus is designed to give those employees who do not benefit in a sales related incentive scheme the opportunity to share in the profits of the company.  Due to the discretionary nature of the bonus the actual amount payable is defined annually by the Board of Directors.

Those employees who choose to make their career with Olympus KeyMed can, subject to the company’s performance and the terms of the scheme, benefit from enhanced payments.

Attendance Bonus

Additional discretionary bonus payments may be made twice yearly (usually in April & October) for individuals with a 100% attendance record, providing they have been in the company’s employment over the entire six-month period to which the payment relates.  All staff are eligible to participate, although payments are made at the discretion of the Directors and are subject to certain rules.

Incentive Schemes

Some employees are entitled to participate in other financial incentive schemes.  These payments link a proportion of earnings to the achievement of targets which are specifically related to the post.  If your post is linked to one of these schemes, you will be advised during the interview process and full details will be provided with your offer of employment.

It should be noted that all earnings under these schemes are subject to Income Tax and National Insurance contributions.

Personal Development

Employees can take real ownership for their career development and, with our policy of promotion from within, staff are encouraged to further their careers within the organisation, which enables us to retain and develop individuals whilst also helping them to realise their potential.

Our ‘hands on’ management approach is a key factor in ensuring we maintain a successful business - it also plays a major role in our ability to manage and develop our staff.  From initial recruitment through to ongoing appraisals, our management team focuses its energies on staff retention & development.  All new starters receive an individually-tailored training programme and ongoing support is provided using our in-house training resources and e-learning programmes combined with the skills & experience of some of the best external training providers.

Annual Leave Entitlements

New employees are entitled to 23 days* of annual leave, plus statutory holidays, in a calendar year.  Additional days of leave are also awarded for long service and for those employees operating at management level.

*These days are pro-rated according to the start date and the type of contract that you work.  Individual entitlements are always confirmed upon joining the company.

We have also developed an extensive range of employee benefits that are available to employees and their families.
