Aloka ProSound Alpha 5
The Aloka ProSound Alpha 5 utilises a newly developed High-Density Digital Front-end incorporating a high-speed digital processor specifically designed for ultrasonic signals.  The superior signal-to-noise ratio reduces image speckle and enables clearer imaging in a greater number of patients.
 
Pure Sound Transmission technology provides maximum greyscale information by actively controlling bandwidth, whilst reducing the image noise often seen on challenging patients.  In addition to providing high penetration, high resolution fundamental imaging, exceptionally clear harmonic images are generated.
 
Features:
  • Nanosecond Quantitative Reception technology providing control of the ultrasonic signal in a minimum 3.125 nanoseconds.  This allows precise resolution by individually focusing for each pixel in the displayed image.
  • New generation wide dynamic range digital beamformer incorporating 12-bit A/D convertors providing superior contrast resolution especially at depth.
  • Ultra-high temporal resolution via Multi-beam processing.
  • Hemispheric Sound Technology (HST) probes incoporating an array of transducer elements which create sound sources close to an ideal hemispheric shape.  HST probes produce less grating lobe and side-lobe artefact producing notably cleaner imaging.
  • Real-time Free Angular M-Mode: up to three omnidirectional simultaneous M-Mode lines can be displayed.
