An extensive line-up of grasping forceps specifically designed for the retrieval of aspirated foreign bodies.
Selection of the appropriate model from the table below will minimise any risk of the foreign object being released prematurely and causing further trauma.
Olympus EndoTherapy
The reusable models are constructed of easy-to-clean materials that can be reprocessed by ultrasonic cleaning and autoclave sterilization.  Certain models are supplied sterile, for single-use.
Olympus Spiral Baskets Spiral basket type
For the extraction of smooth-surfaced spherical objects, such as peanuts.  Models FG-51D, 3Fr basket, and FG-52D, 2Fr basket, for 1.2mm channels.  Supplied sterile for single-use.
Olympus 3-nail type grasping forceps 3-nail type
For the removal of sharp, splintered foreign bodies or soft objects.  Model FG-35D, for channel sizes of 1.2mm and above.  Supplied sterile for single-use.
