Radial Systems for Diagnosis:
EUS Processors
EUS Endoscopes
EUS Miniprobes
Rectal Probes
EUS Endoscopes
A range of radial ultrasonic gastroscopes are available for diagnostic EUS.  The Olympus GF-UM2000 is an EndoEcho ultrasonic gastrovideoscope, incorporating a new HyperBand transducer with scanning from 5 to 20MHz.  The slim insertion tube of the Olympus MH-908 oesophageal probe allows tumour staging even in narrow or stenotic sections of the oesophagus.  Both instruments are designed for use with the EU-M2000 processor.

The GF-UE260-AL5 is the world’s first 360 degree electronic radial EUS videoscope and is compatible with three systems in the Aloka ProSound range of high-end multi-purpose diagnostic ultrasound scanners.
Endoscopic Ultrasound System
Olympus EndoEcho GF-UM2000 EUS Videoscope
The GF-UM2000 not only provides clear visualisation of the mucosal layer structure, but also offers a panoramic view to make orientation much easier.  Organs beyond the pancreas and gall bladder, including the liver and spleen, can now be brought into view.
EndoEcho
Olympus EndoEcho GF-UM2000 EUS Videoscope
Specifications:
  • 12.7mm distal end outer diameter.
  • 10.5mm insertion tube outer diameter.
  • 1055mm working length.
  • 2.2mm channel diameter.
  • 130°/90° up/down, 90°/90° left/right angulation.
  • B-mode display.
  • Mechanical radial scanning.
Four frequency modes available - the HyperBand transducer can be easily set to suit the specific requirements of each case, offering true broadband scanning across four frequency modes - C5, C7.5, C12 & C20, covering from approximately 5MHz, for accurate orientation, especially in the pancreatobiliary area, by visualizing deep organs such as the pancreas and gallbladder, to 20MHz, for detailed imaging of the layer structure of the gastrointestinal tract wall and other areas.
Olympus MH-908 EUS Oesophageal Probe
Up to one third of oesophageal and cardia tumour patients cannot be fully examined with the conventional ultrasonic endoscope because of stenosis in the oesophagus.  To meet the needs of this patient group, Olympus has developed this slim ultrasonic probe, combining improved insertability, even into narrow or stenotic sections of the oesophagus, with ultrasound capability.

Monorail Guidewire System
Specifications:
  • 8.5mm distal end outer diameter
  • 7.9mm insertion tube outer diameter
  • 700mm working length
  • 2.2mm channel diameter
  • 130°/90° up/down, 90°/90° left/right angulation
  • B-mode display
  • Mechanical radial scanning
  • Frequency: 7.5MHz
A monorail guidewire system ensures safe and easy probe introduction which can also be used to support palliation therapy both before and after the endosonographic examination.  The wide angulation range enables thorough observation of the celiac trunk area for lymph node identification.

Olympus GF-UE260-AL5 EUS Videoscope
The GF-UE260 offers 360 degree scanning providing panoramic imaging for complete visualisation of the digestive organ.  The scope also benefits from the use of an electronic array enabling advanced imaging options such as Tissue Harmonic Echo and colour Doppler facility, which aids orientation in the pancreato-biliary region.
Specifications:

  • 13.8mm distal end outer diameter
  • 11.8mm insertion tube outer diameter
  • 1250mm working length
  • 2.2mm channel diameter
  • 130°/90° up/down, 90°/90° left/right angulation
  • B-mode, B/Flow mode, B/D Mode, Tissue Harmonic Echo mode display
  • Electronic radial scanning
